Umumnya daerah yang kekeringan dan yang mengalami kekurangan air bersih di Ciamis ini merupakan daerah dataran tinggi. Kabid Kedaruratan dan Logistik (Darlog) BPBD Ciamis, Ani Supiani, mengaku sudah menyiapkan 3 tangki terdiri dari 2 dari PDAM dan 1 tangki milik BPBD untuk menyalurkan air bersih bagi warga yang membutuhkan.
